Big Battery Hunt
We are taking part in the ‘Big Battery Hunt’ at school. Each child will bring home a collection box which they can fill with batteries and then return to school to be recycled. We are aiming to fill a large battery bin full of batteries that we can then send off to be recycled.
Recycling batteries can make a real difference to our planet, and we want to inspire the children at St Oswald’s Primary School to care for their environment, now and in the future. The Big Battery Hunt gives children the exciting opportunity to be pioneers in an exciting recycling challenge to encourage everyone to recycle more batteries. The school will be in with a chance of winning some great prizes for helping to collect as many batteries as possible and will be helping the planet too!
Please fill the collection box, and return to school, only with the following battery types:
- AAA
- AA
- C
- D
