We’ve had another fun-filled week here in Year 5!
This week, we organised a football-themed morning for KS2 to raise money for Save the Children. Everyone enjoyed the penalty shootout, and we’re thrilled to have raised even more money for this wonderful cause.
In science, we’ve been learning about the different constellations and how they have been used for navigation and storytelling for thousands of years.
In English, we’ve been writing letters inspired by The Christmas Truce. Using drama, studying old photographs, and imagining how the soldiers might have felt on this extraordinary day have all helped us bring our letters to life.
As part of our art topic, we used collage techniques to create backgrounds for our space-themed art project. We’re excited to finish these later this week!
Our Christmas Craft Club had great fun colouring in our massive wall display.
Wishing you all a lovely weekend!
