This week, Year 3 have really enjoyed our Book Week celebrations. We loved sharing our favourite reads with our class and inspiring our friends to pick up some new texts. We were also very excited to browse the books on offer at this year's Book Fair and loved making our wish lists of must reads!
One of our favourite Book Week activities was our work on graphic novels. We really enjoyed looking at the work of Guy Bass and Peter Williamson who created and adapted 'Stitch Head' into a fantastic graphic novel. It inspired us to try and tell our own narratives through graphics and captions.
In our science lessons, we have been looking at the nutritional needs of humans and this week we looked at how proteins help our bodies to grow and repair. We tested different types of foods to see which ones were the most rich in protein.
