This week in Reception Class, we have been enjoying the winter weather, outside. We explored the 'whole amount' and the parts within - a huge thankyou to Penelope's lovely Grandma, who let us borrow her homemade penguin. We used it to label a penguin in a maths lesson - we knew that the penguin was the whole amount and it's body parts were the parts within the whole. 

 

In our whole class worship, we gathered together to share the story of how Mary found out that she was going to have a child, who was to be called Jesus. We spoke about important announcements and shared some of our own. We made our own Angel Gabriel's that were filled with, love, hope, peace and joy.
