What a Busy and Productive Week in Year 5!
This week, Year 5 has been buzzing with activity and creativity.
In our RE lessons, we created beautiful Advent wreaths, exploring the symbolism behind the wreaths and candles. The discussions helped us reflect on how they prepare us for Christmas.
In English, we delved into The Tempest, using 'zones of relevance' to analyze and debate its various themes. Inspired by Prospero's final monologue, everyone showcased their creativity by crafting their own versions, incorporating modal verbs to add depth and expression.
We’ve also started preparing for our Christmas production in collaboration with Year 6. From practising hymns to stepping into our roles on stage, the festive spirit is already in the air!
Wishing you all a wonderful and restful weekend.
