Year 1 have had another busy and exciting week of learning! In maths, the children have been working hard on their addition skills, exploring part-whole models and applying their knowledge to solve problems.
In RE, the class have been learning all about Baptism. They loved sharing their own special keepsakes and photos, helping everyone to make meaningful connections to their learning.
In DT, the children have continued creating their fantastic windmills, showing great focus and creativity. During PE, they’ve been developing their stretch, movement and fundamental skills – showing brilliant effort and teamwork throughout.
Music lessons have been full of rhythm and fun, as the children followed beats and patterns, while in Geography they’ve been describing different features and using their geographical vocabulary with confidence.
