Welcome to Year 2!
We’ve had a fantastic start to the new school year, and everyone has settled into their new class brilliantly. The children have been working hard and showing great enthusiasm for their learning.
In Art, we’ve started our Drawing unit and have already seen some creative and detailed work. In Science, we are exploring Animal Survival and learning about how different animals adapt to their environments. Our Geography lessons have taken us to India, where we’re discovering fascinating facts about its culture and landscape. In Maths, we’ve begun the term by focusing on Place Value, and in English, we are learning about the different types of sentences we can use to improve our writing.
It’s been a busy and exciting start, and we’re looking forward to everything Year 2 has in store!
