We have a lovely end to a fantastic half term. In English this week, our focus was shape poems. We were all inspired after listening to some fantastic spooky poems from the book 'Fire Burn, Cauldron Bubble'. We laughed at loud at some of the funny poems and even listened to Shakespeare's description of the three witches. The children wrote their own spooky shape poems which were filled with expanded noun phrases, onomatopoeia and even included some similes and personification.
In PE this week, we finished our fundamental skills PE unit with some Halloween PE using our fundamental skills and enjoyed our last rugby lesson.
