Today, Year 3 shared a beautiful Celebration of the Word with their families. Reading and acting out Scripture from Matthew's Gospel, the children told the story of Jesus' decision to ask Peter to lead the church. They then shared the story of our current Pope and how he is following Jesus' lead today.
In class, we have been discussing how Pope Francis believes we should pray, share the Gospel and care for our planet. The children shared this message beautifully during today's Celebration of the Word.
