This week in Year 3 the children have been learning lots about earthquakes to help them write their non chronological reports. We played a game of 'tectonic plates' to help us to collect language to describe how the plates move and wrote similes comparing the plates to dodgem cars.
We started our new topic in RE learning about the Jesse tree. We enjoyed hearing the fantastic stories all about the people in Jesus' own family tree.
In science, we learnt all about the great fossil hunter 'Mary Anning' and her contribution to paleontology. The children produced some great information posters to present her amazing achievements.
