Over the last 2 weeks Year 2 have been planning their account of the Chinese Fable, 'The Great Race'. They spent time planning a beginning, middle and end to their story and then looked at the different characters to see how they could describe them and their actions using ambitious vocabulary, similes, alliteration and the power of 3.
In RE the children have been learning about the different parts of the mass. In our final lesson the children had to come up with ways they can 'Go Forth' in peace and walk in Jesus' footsteps.
We had fun in science investigating the question Do all objects made form the same material sink if you place them on water? Their results said no!
We have been learning to tell the time using analogue clocks, we are making great progress learning o'clock and half past.
In music we have been using glockenspiels to play a melody by reading music notation.
