Year 3 have had a wonderful week in school. In maths, they have been working on place value and partitioning numbers to 1,000.
Everyone is enjoying our DT topic 'castles' and we have had some wonderful castle designs made up of 2D and 3D shapes.
In English, we are writing stories and collecting language based on the book 'The Secret of Black Rock' by Todd Stanton. We had great fun looking at collective nouns for fish and sea creatures using the wonderful book 'A Shiver of Sharks' as our inspiration.
