We have had a brilliant time learning all about Oceans this week.

We have learnt the name of each Ocean and where it is around the world, we have also ordered them by size and know some information about each one.
The Pacific Ocean is the largest and holds the Mariana Trench within in.
The Atlantic is the youngest ocean.
The Indian Ocean is the warmest - where it meets the Atlantic, just below Africa, you can see a change in colour between the 2!
The Southern Ocean is also known as the Antarctic Ocean and is at the bottom of the world with the Emperor Penguins.
The Arctic Ocean is at the top of the world where the polar bears live!

We have enjoyed learning about what and where you can find a Coral Reef.
We have made our own salt dough star fish and made our own Rainbow Fish with 1 sparkly scale.

Reception Class are looking forward to taking on lots of new information again, next week!
