We have had a great first week of this half term in Year 5!
We have continued our work on fractions and finished our big write of the Jabberwocky!
In RE, we were discussing people’s missions and how many people around the world have dedicated their lives to helping others. As part of this lesson, we came up with our own action plans for a new charity and shared to the class how our charity would help others!
In PE, we have begun our unit on Tennis and started by working on our ‘forehand’ technique by feeding and returning the ball.
Our DT unit this half term is ‘Building Bridges’. Today, we investigated the strength of different shaped pillars and how they can affect the structure of a bridge!
In music, we have worked on our ukulele skills! We began by looking at the ‘C’ chord and learnt two songs!
What a fab week!
Have a lovely weekend!
