What an exciting week we've had in Year 3! Everyone has enjoyed our week focusing on poetry. We have read and performed lots of poems based on Autumn and Halloween. The children created their own 'spooky thesauruses'. which are a real treasure chest of words. We have looked at lots of devices used in poetry and the children used these to create their own shape poems,
In science, we have been learning about the importance of balanced diets. Everyone designed their own balanced meal and the menu options were mouth-watering.
Sticking with the Halloween theme, the children wrote and performed their own songs in their music lesson this week with Mrs Mcleod.
