We have had a great week in Year 4! Nativity rehearsals are well underway and we have all been working so hard to remember the many important things we have to do in our performance!
In RE, we have began our unit on Advent by thinking about 'Gifts'. The children thought about the special gifts we received from our friends and then today, we found out about the Advent Wreaths and then created a beautiful piece of work using this knowledge!
In Art, we have been using charcoal to show depth and shadow. We used our beautiful Christmas decorations as our item to draw and used the charcoal to create light and dark for the 2D and 3D elements .
In History, we have also been working brilliantly. We learnt a great deal about Boudicca and then studied two sources and decided how reliable they were using The History High 5.
The children have all worked so hard this week and I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
