Welcome back, we hope you all had a wonderful half term break!
This week in Reception Class we have been looking at the story, The Owl Who was Afraid of the Dark by Jill Tomlinson.
We have learnt about the word 'nocturnal' and found out which other animals like to come out at night and predicting why Plop might be afraid of the dark.
We have painted and created our own firework pictures on the iPads and have had a go at writing a sentence about what we think the dark might be like for Plop.
In Maths, we continued our work on 1,2 and 3 by looking at 1 more, 1 less and the composition of 1,2 and 3. We have also started our 'Counting Collections' sessions on Friday, which we are very excited about!
