Friday 21st October 2022

We have had such an amazing last week of the half term in Year 4! Everyone has continued to work so hard and I am so proud of everything you have all done!
This half term has been brilliant- we have completed units in Place Value in Maths, Fantasy setting description and Instruction writing in English, Rivers and Mountains in Geography and God's People in RE.
This week, we have taken part in a SPAG hunt around our school hall. The children had to find hidden SPAG questions and answer them on their white boards. We all had great fun and worked very hard. In Geography, to finish our unit, we created information posters in groups explaining all of the new knowledge we have gained from this half term. The children created excellent posters which really showed how much they have learnt!
On Friday, we finished our DT unit by taking part in a taste testing workshop in ASDA. We had to taste a variety of fillings and decide on which one we preferred before making our jacket potatoes and finally eating them!
Every single member of our class has achieved so many brilliant things these past few weeks and I can not wait for the rest of our year together!
I hope you all have a restful half term holiday and I look forward to seeing you all back in school on Monday 31st of October!
Stay safe and have fun!

Love,
