This week in Reception Class we have been using the story 'Here We Are' by Oliver Jeffers. We have been looking at where we are in the world, drawing maps that lead us from home to school, creating self portraits with natural resources and on cut out faces. We have also been building our homes and places where we know out of the wooden building blocks, it has been lovely hearing about what we all know about our local areas.
We have also been learning about body percussion in music, how to move safely around a space in PE, locating our names on a keyboard in computing and making rubbings with wax crayons in art.
