This week in Reception Class we have been looking at the story, 'Lost and Found' by Oliver Jeffers. We have written a list of what the boy and the penguin need to take to the South Pole with them, found where the South Pole and Antarctica is on the world map, conducted our own floating and sinking investigation, learnt about Emperor Penguins and described the penguin in the story.
We have also been learning about 4 & 5 in maths. We have enjoyed learning about Pete the Cat and his 4 groovy buttons, which has been stuck in everyone's head all week!
