Year 1 have been looking at fireworks this week! They have been exploring ways of describing them and bonfires, as part of their poetry unit. They had lots of fun watching some firework displays on the smart board and they will be listening out this weekend to gather some personal experience for writing their poems next week!
In DT, they explored windmills as part of their new "wonderful windmills" topic. This week, they needed to research different types of windmills and find out what they are.
In Maths, they have enjoyed taking part in barvember and working through white rose math's problems!
We have been continuing to enjoy stretching and balancing in PE and this week we enjoyed listening to 'Room on the Broom.'
In Science, the children took part in some firework experiments. They had great fun with Mrs Wynne!
