We have had a lovely, busy and exciting week here in Year 3. As we approach the first Sunday in Advent, the children looked at some of St Paul's letters and his advice on how we can live like Jesus. Using this as inspiration, the children created their own '24 days of Kindness' Advent calendars. They thought about small things they could do everyday to make someone smile.
In Science, we looked at the rocks used in our school building and surrounding buildings and thought about the rock types, their properties and their uses.
We have been learning the 8 times table in our maths lessons this week. We have used a counting stick, listened to different songs, looked at the patterns and other tables that can help us to remember this table. We made our own secret keepers as a fun way to practise with our friends.
