What a wonderful week we have had here in Year 3! Everyone returned to school smiling and ready to learn which is brilliant to see.
This week the children had their first ukulele lesson and they loved it. They looked at the different parts of the ukulele, the chords and practised playing different notes.
As part of their new Design technology topic (which is all about wearable technology), the children looked at lots of different products throughout history. They sorted them into various categories and explained their uses and how they have changed over time.
In English, we started our new topic all about persuasive writing. We took an imaginary plane ride to Sicily and discussed what we would like to do on our first day there.
