What a wonderful start to a new half term we've had in Year 3!
We all loved our visit to the Centre for Life and it was a great introduction to our new science topic. The 'light fantastic' workshop was brilliant and taking part in lots of experiments was one of the highlights of the day.Everyone enjoyed the planetarium show and we leanrt a lot about the planets and stars in our solar system. The science show was another favourite with everyone laughing out loud at the fantastic experiments.
We celebrated World Book Day with lots of activities based around our class reading book 'The Ikabog'. Some of the activities included: designing outfits for King Fred the Fearless, designing menus for the people of Cornucopia, drawing our own maps of Cornucopia and designing our own monsters.
In RE, we discussed the season of lent and made our own Lenten promises.
