What a wonderful week we have had here in Year 3! In maths, we have been focusing on the three times table. We have looked at patterns, sang songs and solved puzzles to help us to remember the three times table.
As part of our history work, we have been learning all about hunter gatherers and the way they managed to gather and hunt food. We have learnt about the foods they ate, the fact they were nomadic and how skilled they were at hunting.
Everyone is enjoying our class reader 'The Wild Way Home' by Sophie Kirtley. We are all on the edges of our seats waiting to find out if Charlie will ever make it home.
Our Celebration of the Word was a lovely prayerful way to end the week. We have all enjoyed learning all about the feast of Christ the King and have written some beautiful and thoughtful prayers.
