We have had a very busy and exciting week here in Year 3. In art we became botanists for the day and created some wonderfully detailed sketches of tulips. We then learnt all about the technique of 'frottage' and had fun being artists outside of the classroom and creating some brilliant pieces of art.
In our history lesson this week, it was all about mummification and everyone was fascinated. We acted out the various stages of this process and discussed why the Ancient |Egyptians wanted to take part in this ritual.
Our music topic this term is all about the history of jazz. This week we created our own jazz motifs which sounded amazing.
