We have had a wonderful last week of term here in Year 3. In English, we have taken inspiration from the wonderful Fenwick's Window and have enjoyed listening to 'The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe'. The children wrote beautiful descriptions of Narnia, designed an advert selling Edmund's Turkish delight, completed some beautiful sketches of Mr Tumnus and learnt what it was it was like to be an evacuee during World War 2.
In art, the children created some wonderful silhouettes and Mrs McLeod was very very impressed with the different techniques.
Christmas party day was a huge hit. Everyone enjoyed dancing, games and pass the sprout.
