Year 3 have been very busy this week across all of their subjects. In English, we have started our unit all about play scripts. Our scripts are all based on the real life event that happened in Eyam over four hundred years ago. This week, the children have learnt all about the features of play scripts, they have met the main characters in our play and have had lots of fun looking at historical sources.
In science, we have been looking at metal and conducting experiments to find out if all metals are magnetic. The children were quite surprised at their results and very interested in different products being made from different types of metals.
We finished our wonderful history topic all about the Iron Age by learning about the powerful and mysterious Druids. The children then went out into nature to create their own Druid inspired crowns.
